5D4N MOUNT RINJANI TREKKING (LAKE ADVENTURE) ITINERARY

Day 1: Senaru Village – Pos 1 – Pos 2 – Pos 3, overnight camp

Early morning transfer to Senaru Village and meet with your guide porters at Senaru Trek Centre for registration. After registration start the trek to Pos 1 (950M) through sheltered thick tropical forest, take some rest here and continue to Pos 2 Montong Satas (1500M), stop for lunch and stay a while for rest. After enough rest continue trek to Pos 3 Mondokan Lokak (2000M), stay here for 1 night to experience camp in the forest.

Day 2: Pos 3 – Senaru Crater Rim – Segara Anak Lake, overnight camp

After breakfast walk up from Pos 3 to Senaru Crater Rim, stay a while at the crater rim for photograph and enjoy the views around. After taking the photograph continue the trek walk down to the lake Segara Anak (2,000 m) within the Rinjani crater. Reach the lake around noon time, take rest and lunch. Afternoon explore the caves and pilgrimage hot springs, believed to have healing powers. Camp by the lake.

Day 3: Segara Anak Lake – Pelawangan Sembalun (Sembalun Crater Rim)

Still stay and relax on the lake or do fishing activities. After lunch continue the trip to Plawangan Sembalun, walk through steep and rocky trails. At 5 PM reach the campsite at Pelawangan Sembalun (Sembalun Crater Rim). Enjoy the spectacular view and sunset from the campsite.

Day 4: Pelawangan Sembalun – Pos 3 Pada Balong – Pos 2 Tengengean, overnight camp

Enjoy amazing sunrise from Pelawangan Sembalun campsite and explore around camp area. After lunch leave the campsite down to Pos 2 Tengengean – Sembalun, walk through beautiful savanna grassland. Reach around 5 PM, set up the tent for last night camp.

Day 5: Pos 2 Tengengean – Sembalun Lawang Village 

Last day trek, easy walk to Sembalun Lawang village, enjoy view of the savanna grassland along the trek and farm field at the end of trek where you can see onion plantation, garlic, strawberry, potato, tomato, chili and other crops. Finish in Sembalun Lawang village and then drop off with car to your hotel.
